South Africa is a country committed to freedom and opportunity for all people. Despite these ideals, discrimination against foreigners continues. This provides a poor welcome for refugee and immigrant children who have experienced the horrors of violence, poverty, and persecution in their own countries.

A range of t-shirts has been launched and in buying one, you can help combat this discrimination by supporting anti-xenophobia education and ‘the suitcase project’-an innovative art therapy initiative where refugee children reclaim good and difficult memories through creative expression. The t-shirts include images inspired by the children who participate in this project.
